FUN FACT: Think it’s counterproductive to use oil before waxing? Old school methods turned to powder to dry out the skin before waxing - this makes already dry skin even dryer, causing more issues with skin tearing. With a base layer of oil, the skin is nourished prior to waxing while providing a barrier between the skin and the wax so only the hair is removed!
