FUN FACT: Did you know that Rosin comes from the pine tree? This super sticky and natural substance is extremely effective at adhering to the hairs and pulling them out  from its roots.

PRE-WAX TIP: Avoid heat related activities immediately before your wax. This will prevent your skin from tearing or becoming irritated.

POST-WAX TIP: After a wax, your pores are open and highly susceptible to bacteria. For 24 hours after your wax - avoid sweat or bacteria from entering the pores to minimize irritation and adverse reactions (this includes baths, saunas, swimming pools, tanning and workouts).

AFTERCARE TIP: Use Calm Down immediately after waxing to soothe the skin and reduce any redness, irritation or inflammation. Exfoliate daily to prevent ingrown hairs.   

PREPARATION

Remove lid, place container in the microwave and heat in 20 second intervals, stirring the wax after each interval, until fluid consistency is reached. If you have difficulty removing the lid, heat the entire container with the lid on, for 30 seconds to loosen. Heating time will vary depending on the amount of wax in the container. A full container will take approximately 1 minute. If the wax appears to be runny, it is too hot - allow it to cool down and thicken slightly. Reheat wax as needed. CAUTION: HOT WAX MAY BURN THE SKIN. Apply a small amount of wax to the inside of your wrist to test the temperature before using.

APPLICATION

1. Apply a thin layer of Waxing Oil to the area to cleanse and prepare the skin for treatment. 2. Dip a waxing spatula into the wax and allow any excess wax to drip off. 3. Spread a thin layer of wax following the direction of hair growth. 4. Cover this layer of wax with a waxing strip and rub down firmly so that the wax adheres to the strip. 5. Hold one end of the strip, and pull back in a quick swift motion, in the opposite direction of the hair growth. To avoid bruising, hold the skin taut and pull as close to the skin as possible. 6. Once hair removal is complete, use the Waxing Oil to remove any residual wax.

WARNINGS

For microwave use only. Do not wax on skin that has been recently exposed to sun or tanning bed. Do not wax over sunburnt or irritated skin, lesions, warts, moles or abrasions. Do not wax if using any skin sensitive medications (ie. Retin-a or Accutane). If an adverse reaction occurs, stop use immediately and consult a physician. Keep freshly waxed skin clean and free of sweat and bacteria for at least 24 hours. For external use only.
